Our Rooms

The interiors of St. James’s Hotel and Club have undergone a complete renovation by an international team of architects and designers led by award-winning interior designer AMJ Design, from Berlin. 

Each of the luxurious 60 guest rooms and suites reflects Althoff Hotels attention to detail, incorporating state-of-the-art technology and exquisite furnishings. Many have their own balcony and views over the rooftops of the historic St James’s district. The penthouse suit features a large roof top terrace unrivalled in this part of London. 

Exclusively designed and in harmony with the elegance of the Victorian building, the rooms have an average size of 25 square metres and are perfect for the experienced traveller.  All our luxury hotel rooms are exclusively finished with handmade silk wallpaper, black lacquered furniture, handcrafted Murano glass chandeliers and polished natural stones in the bathroom. In addition to a comfortable seating area, a working desk with High-speed internet access, laptop safes, minibar, I-pod docking station and flat screen TVs complete the room’s standard facilities. All rooms also include built in wardrobes to allow a more spacious feel.
