Sous Chef – Seven Park Place (1 Michelin star & 4 AA rosettes) / Williams Bar & Bistro

We are searching for a passionate Sous Chef. Our ideal candidate will have previous Michelin, Rosette and Fine Dining experience.

The successful Sous Chef will train & develop under experienced Chefs learning all aspects of the business. Working with fresh food & seasonal produce, you will be required to work to exceptionally high standards, only experienced, dedicated and ambitious Sous Chefs need apply! As a Sous Chef you will be moved around the kitchen giving you the opportunity to learn and progress to become a more senior member of a very strong team, building on your resume for future promotion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef looking to work in a professional team to Michelin star level with excellent training and future development.

The Role :

  • As Sous Chef you will be expected to help lead the team from the front.
  • Ensuring the highest possible levels of food are achieved at all times in all areas (Michelin starred restaurant, bistro, function rooms, afternoon tea, room service, breakfast)
  • Competency in working in all areas of the kitchen
  • Menu planning
  • Assist with the day to day ordering for the kitchen and managing food stocks effectively
  • Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and food hygiene
  • Assist with staff training and supervision (chefs and kitchen porters)

Role Criteria :

  • As Sous Chef you will have a stable and proven career to date with experience of working in Michelin and rosette establishments
  • You will be, focused and well organised with the ability to handle pressure and adapt to different situations
  • You will have a huge passion and energy for food and an understanding of the classics as well as modern cookery and food trends
  • Knowledge of kitchen financials along with current H&S is essential
